Hello, I’m Anastasia Dosov.
I am a certified professional in Integrative Nutrition, holding a Diploma in Integrative Nutrition from the European Institute of Longevity and certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. I am also completing my Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States, which provides me with advanced knowledge in the science and practice of functional nutrition.
My academic background includes pre-medical education in Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Studies, enriching my understanding of both health sciences and diverse human perspectives.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based integrative practices, focusing on personalized wellness strategies to support optimal health.
What’s “integrative”?
It’s a way of looking at your health as a whole rather than focusing on separate organs or body systems. When I consult with my clients, I aim to find the root causes of health issues rather than just addressing symptoms.
I’m here to analyze your health history, symptoms, concerns, and bloodwork biochemistry holistically—and provide you with a personalized nutrition plan, lifestyle interventions, and tailored supplements based on your specific needs.
My Journey to Holistic Health
My journey into the world of holistic health and nutrition began when my husband was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. He initially tried to manage his condition with medications: steroids, biologicals, and immunosuppressants. Eventually, his doctors told him they could no longer control his symptoms with medication alone and recommended a colectomy, a surgery to remove part or all of the colon.
The idea of such a life-altering procedure was overwhelming, and I began researching alternatives with determination. Through lifestyle changes, diet modifications, and carefully tailored supplements, my husband achieved remission without medication.
I believe that our health is not simply a matter of chance. While genetics play a role, it is largely our behavior and environment—our epigenetics—that influence whether certain genes are activated or not.
